Soul of Tarawangsa (2009)

Ivana Stojaković ... combines her diverse artistic experiences and adds to her installation work an interest in ritual performance, turning it into a multi-edial project. It was interesting to follow its development, and how Ivana worked on certain stages, combining multi-media techniques with traditional-modern objects of performing practices characteristic of the people of West Java (Indonesia). In preparation for this creative project, Ivana conducted research on Tarawangsa (traditional ritual), Egranzi (people on high wooden stilts) and other elements that she used for her multimedia installation, which thus became a "Multicultural Ritual Performance".
